Q: What do I need to start a sublimation business? What is the average cost of printing with sublimation ink?

Q: Does the sublimation printing deteriorate the quality with time?

The biggest advantage of sublimation printing is its permanent feature. It also offers High color gamut. Sublimation printing allows the ink to sublimate into the surface of the substrate being printed. Thus, images on fabric won’t crack, fade or peel. The colors will stay vibrant even after multiple washings.

Q: Dose it works on Cotton Garment?

Unfortunately no, The Sublimation Printing Method does not work with Cotton T shirts. The Basic Requirement for the sublimation to work it need a minimum of 60% of Polyester Content of Fabric, That can be considered a Polycotton fabric, but the {Polyester Content plays an important Role}.

Q: Can we sublimate on dark fabrics?

Strict NO. Printing dye sublimation inks onto darker fabrics (Black or the Darker shades) is still an issue. You cannot sublimate on dark fabrics because these materials are already colored. If you want to sublimate on any colorful fabric other than black, you can use a darker ink-like black and make your printing visible.

Q:  How can I save the maintenance of the Printer?

Few Things very important keep away from Direct sunlight, High Heat and the dust. Cover the Printer if exposed to high pollution area, and yes run your printer regularly and don’t ignore the printer, turn your machine on and run it a few times in a week. A small amount of ink will be enough to do this process. The Standard temperature should be anywhere between 20C to 28C
